Meet Lynnette – Bridal Stylist and Gina Lou Bride!

Back in November, we were delighted to be able to expand the Gina Lou Bridal Team and welcome Lynnette Everton as a Bridal Stylist.

Tell us about you!

So, I’m Lynnette! I have three beautiful children and my fiancé, Nick and I are getting married in May 2022. I discovered Gina Lou Bridal when looking for my wedding dress – I loved my experience so when the opportunity came up to join, I couldn’t resist! Before joining Gina Lou, I was a beauty therapist for 13 years.

Why did you want to join the team at Gina Lou Bridal?

I had the most wonderful experience when I came to choose my wedding dress and the opportunity to give other brides the same experience was an opportunity I couldn’t miss. I also love playing dress-up – getting paid to be a princess is every girl’s dream!

Do you have a favourite designer? If so, who and why?

My favourite designer has to be Gaia! I have loved them from the word go. It was through looking for a Gaia stockist that I came across Gina Lou. I booked my second appointment during the Gaia Trunk show event at Gina Lou (an event where designers showcase their full collection within a boutique), and it was there that I met Gaia owner and designer, Maria Ryan who was lovely. With the help of Maria, and Hollie, they helped me find my perfect dress. It was such a special experience to have met the actual designer of my wedding dress.

Which is your favourite dress in the shop (aside from your own wedding dress of course – that’s staying top secret!)?

My favourite dress (apart from my own wedding dress) has to be Monaco by Gaia – the train is incredible! I also love Leena by Adore by Justin Alexander – the fitted overskirt really added the option for a day look and an evening look.

What would be your top tips for any brides coming to try on dresses?

My top tip would be to keep an open mind and try on a range of different styles - you may surprise yourself, just as I did!
